Fall Campus Visit Days

Join us at our main campus in Storrs for a Fall Campus Visit Day, an open house opportunity designed to highlight the very best UConn has to offer. From faculty-led academic sessions and admissions presentations to campus tours and more, come discover what makes UConn one of the nation's top public universities.

Open House opportunities are available at all five UConn campuses during the spring and fall. Spring dates are geared towards admitted students, but prospective students are welcome to attend. If you are a prospective student interested in attending a spring open house, please email us at animalscience@uconn.edu. Admitted students can visit UConn Bound Days for details and registration information.

Transfer Students:

The Department of Animal Science welcomes transfer student applicants and is here to help with the process! Many students transfer to our program throughout the year. Once you've been admitted, it is critical to work closely with your academic advisor to be sure you meet deadlines and program requirements for graduation! If you have additional questions, please follow these easy steps:

Step 1

Students walking and riding horses in unison for 2015 Commencement Fill out the form below to arrange a meeting with an animal science advisor.  (Prospective Undergraduate Student Form) If you are unable to attend a spring or fall open house, you can meet with a department faculty advisor to discuss the animal science program virtually or in person. The information on the form will be submitted to a member of the ANSC staff who will schedule a meeting with the appropriate faculty advisor and contact you via email with the details of your meeting. If you are interested in speaking to our Polo or Equestrian Team coaches, you can contact them directly.

Step 2 

Schedule a campus tour of UConn virtually or in person. For admitted students, check your applicant portal for details on upcoming campus tours.

Step 3
