About

Dr. Camila Arroyo Salvo is originally from Chile. She earned her DVM from the University of Chile in 2014 and an MSc in Reproductive Biology from the University of La Frontera in 2018. She completed her PhD in 2025 at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. During her doctoral studies, she began collaborating with Dr. Maria Gracia Gervasi and has now joined the University of Connecticut as a postdoctoral research associate in Dr. Gervasi’s lab. Her research focuses on the role of sperm metabolism in fertilization and embryo development in bovine and equine species, with the goal of improving assisted reproductive technologies in livestock.
