Want to Try Out a Horse?
Potential buyers can make an appointment the week of the auction to view and ride UConn horses up for auction.
Appointments are limited to one half hour and are available Monday - Friday anytime from 10 am – 4 pm.
We reserve the right to limit your time to 30 minutes per horse.
Please call the UConn Horse Barn at (860) 486-2034 to make an appointment
and/or for more information about the horses.
Interested in Being a Vendor?
If you are interested in selling items at the 2015 horse auction,
contact AnimalScience@UConn.edu or (860) 486-2413
to request a vendor contract to be mailed to you.
The reservation fee is $75 for each 10’ x 15’ space (8 foot table)
and $100 for any space larger than that measurement.
The deadline to sign up as a vendor is Friday, April 17th.

Nutrena offers deals each year at our auction for anyone who purchases a horse!
They are offering a certificate for a consultation and a free bag of feed to anyone who purchases a horse this year.
G.M. Thompson and Sons, Inc. will also be offering a coupon for a free bag of horse feed for anyone who purchases a horse as well!
University College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources Alumni Association (UCAHNRAA) will be sponsoring a free drawing for a basket of horse items donated by the Putnam Farmers Co-op!
The UConn Horse Auction is solely organized by Animal Science students
with faculty and staff supervision.

IN ADDITION TO CASH AND CHECK,
BUYERS CAN USE MASTERCARD OR VISA (ONLY) TO PURCHASE THEIR ANIMALS
A 5% Buyers Premium fee will be charged on all sales, however, if buyer pays with an approved check or cash, fee will be waived.
No Pets Are Allowed In the Arena
