Background:

James Dinger received a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Maryland in 1963. He received a B.S. and M.S. in Animal Science from the University of Maryland in 1971 and 1973 respectively. Finally, he completed his PhD in Equine Physiology in 1978 at the University of Maryland.
